Fix 1: Configure Remote Desktop Connection Settings<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A common reason you may be unable to copy and paste data during a Remote Desktop session is if you have previously disabled clipboard usage. Hence, it\u2019s the first thing to check.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 1:<\/strong> Click the search icon<\/strong> on the taskbar > type remote desktop connection<\/em><\/strong> > press Enter<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 1:<\/strong> Press the Windows key + I<\/strong> to launch the Settings app > head to System > Clipboard<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 1:<\/strong> Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc<\/strong> to open the Task Manager > click Run new task<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 1:<\/strong> Press the Windows key + R<\/strong> to launch the Run utility. Type regedit<\/em><\/strong> in the Open field and press Enter<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Step 2:<\/strong> In the Registry Editor window, paste the following path in the address bar at the top and press Enter<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
